I am starting to feel a little more comfort with the material at hand for the written exam. Although I still feel I am far off, I am still getting closer. I picked up some more resources for MPLS, and hoping to pick up one more for some more QOS light reading if there is such a thing. The Netmaster written test is good for testing overall knowledge. I just hate going over practice test after practice test. I start to get mentally lazy and look to just memorize the answers instead of understanding why the answer is what it is. Hopefully soon…

Hang in there on those practice tests, man. I can tell you from experience, you’ve GOT to understand the “why” of the questions to get through the written. A lot of the questions on the written have interdependencies, so that you’ve got to understand how and why a routing protocol will behave in a given situation. The NMC written questions will help if you focus more on the priniciple the question is teaching, and not just the answer. I went through the same thing, wanting to just memorize answers, feeling too tired and lazy to read up. Don’t fall to temptation! 🙂

Thanks! The NMC helped a bunch with the links and explanations.
