Not too much excitement to report here. In the last few weeks I did manage to complete up to INE lab 7, but that is about it. In the last four weeks we have gone through some stomach bugs at home and our two year old needing to be hospitalized for five days on IV antibiotics. So there hasn’t been a ton of time to get any farther.

I am definitely looking forward to my IPexpert bootcamp in April and hopefully I can get some other IPexpert labs in before that time.

I have my list of what topics I need to address over the next few weeks. Until my bootcamp I am planning to go through the Cisco docs and the technology focused labs for those topics. I am still hoping to mix in a couple of full labs just to keep in shape on those.

I would recommend you hit IPX Volume 1 on your specific weak topics and Volume 3 for full labs.

The bootcamp labs are very good in my opinion (I may be biased since I wrote a few of them hehe)

eep the chin up, man! I’m taking a Narbik class in June and a CCBootcamp class in September, followed by my lab in San Jose Dec. 13. I agree with Joe about the VOL1. I went through IPX VOL1 once, and started on VOL3 labs. SLAM! I wasn’t as strong as I thought I was. So, I started over on VOL1. I’ve added INE AoD (difficult to get past Marko’s voice with IPX), Joe’s CoD video bootcamp, and then a VOL1 lab. I reload the routers, and do the same VOL1 lab again. At the end, I feel like I owned each lab. I’m only on VOL1 Lab8, but I’m getting much more in-depth knowledge.

Oh, and also. I pulled out my Cisco 360 workbooks, starting with Lab31. When I first started all this last year, Cisco 360 workbooks (by Andrew Caslow with NetMaster) seemed impossible. IPX definately over studies you, but you’ll be able to hit every possible corner with confidence. Don’t rush it! But, you do have to lab before Dec. 31 to get that Lab Safe retake voucher! I’m doing the same.

PS- Joe, you Rock. I hear your voice for hours on end each day. I feel like I know you. I couldn’t do this with you- much appreciated.

    Good luck- Good labbing!
